Twisting Sliding Mode Control based Maximum Power Point Tracking

For a world where energy demand is increasing day by day, available resources are constantly decreasing. At this point, it very important to be able benefit from the sun, which main source, with minimum damage environment. It possible produce electricity directly sunlight through PV panels. Due limited efficiency of these panels, MPPT algorithms always required. In study, Sliding Mode Control (SMC) based Twisting (T-SMC) MPPT, known for its robust structure, was performed and results were compared classical SMC. The proposed algorithm simulated MATLAB/Simulink. T-SMC obtained as nearly 99%.
